I'll be honest, I don't understand the fascination with camels. It appears there is a fondness for them in this thread. So, at the risk of upsetting some (or one) of you, behold the latest addition to the butcher's department of my local supermarket.

Please note I haven't tried them. The Kangaroo burgers are quite good though.

No it wasn't.

The first photo was of Prince Charles "apparently" about to fondle a lady soldier. The shadow photo did appear early in the first volume.

an inspiring (and possibly unrepeatable) image of old comrades together again in a surviving (or reconstructed) glider of the type that dropped them behind enemy lines during a war which really needed winning, blended with an image of them (or their contemporaries) sat in the same delivery vehicle prior to deployment.
Not a Glider, if they went with a glider they landed with the glider. they certainly did not wear parachutes in gliders. I reckon a DC3/C47. But I do agree with everything else

Yup. My bad. I presumed (presumption = mother of all fkups wink ) it was a glider because I thought the fuselage ribs looked like timber. They are in fact sat in the C47 which itself sits at the main gate of Colchester Garrison, and for many years was the centrepiece for the Airborne Forces Museum in Aldershot.
