Dji Phantom UAVs
Discussion
That new Phantom 4 Pro is incredible! One inch sensor and a mechanical shutter - will be like flying a Sony RX100 (and that may be closer than you think - apparently Sony supply the sensors to DJI).
Some fantastic auto tracking features too, like a 'searchlight' function that allows you to highlight a moving object, then fly around it whilst the software keeps the camera pointed at it.
And that new screen - more than twice the brightness of a tablet.
Ordered mine, should have it in about four weeks I'm told.

its becoming a similar choice between a full DSLR and something like a RXIV with the DJI drones. For me it will be the Mavic because of ease of use. No matter how good the camera becomes on the Phantom 4 years of people prattling on about Megapixels has meant the Mavic is all Il need

Think again then because it's actually 4 Pro with built in screen that will be easier to use. Tap to focus on Mavic is something that you always have to have in mind, especially if you are filming things up close. Faffing with connecting a mobile phone is also a pain.

No idea, I didn't watch it. I'm guessing the tips include "don't try and land on water" and "don't hit a boat".GetCarter said:

Just wondering why you posted then jon?Hoping this is the best place for this question - I have a P3 Standard under the tree and just wanted to check I've properly understood the firmware update process, which as I see it appears to be 'connect to DJI Go app with an empty MicroSD card in the Phantom, then update the app'
I'm not finding their website very helpful
