Taken with a Pixel 7 pro on a phone tripod and around a 120s long exposure. Atmosphere was incredibly clear as was taken at about 14,000ft. Probably a lot of software wizardry involved but still very happy with it !
That's amazing. Where was it taken?

Was taken at Pangong lake (Indian side) its about a days ride from Leh and was part of a 2 week ride off-road around the Himalayas. I wish i'd have had a DSLR with me as it was the clearest night sky i'd ever seen, but I honestly dont know if a bigger camera would have survived the shakes, vibrations and temperature changes seen along the route

What phone tripod do you use? I’m looking to get more creative with mine, as my DSLR is now very old and it’ll be less expensive not to replace it!

Was only a cheapy one, but its actually done me really well. It was from Amazon although available elsewhere: AnkePower Flexible Camera Tripod HS820. Doing lots of adventures on 2 wheels I tend to go for things that are small, light and and not too expensive as they generally have a tough life biglaugh

First, I KNOW this is a cameraphone thread (and I like the composition of them), but:-
- the artificial bokeh in that robin photo is really annoying - it's sudden rather than progressive, it captures the periphery of the bird for no obvious reason, and it looks like you're getting CA or even 'glow' around the end of the log and the brown background run behind it. I know what the software is trying to do, but it just looks really clunky.
- The bike (especially) and the BMW look badly over-sharpened / over-processed - lots of artifacts. Is this a crop or a digital zoom, by any chance?

The bird was shot with portrait mode. I was happy with the shot as mainly it took plenty of time for the bird to stop jumping about constantly but I do agree that the artificial DoF looks exactly that. The bike and BMW shot were not crops but taken with the x10 lens which I always looks more like a digital zoom rather than optical but these are phones. I'm still in awe of how far they have progressed in a relatively short time. I've not had a chance to test the s24 yet but looking forward to seeing how far that's come on.

You are right, for a phone, the photos are incredible.
