Threads like this make be both humbled and embarrassed. I'd be ashamed to post any of my shots up here.

Great work. Keep it coming chaps.
It's honestly not a competition! If you like a few shots you have taken then please feel free to post them smile
Sir, you are very kind.

Here are mine. Sorry to lower the tone of the thread. (I'd welcome constructive criticism of them tho'!)

Aviles - Spanish Townhouses

Luarca - Fishing Port

Cudillero - Small town with harbour

Surfing beach at Muros de Nalon

Ice sculpting competition - Canary Wharf, Jan 2013.

Whoah - thanks Rottie! I've never post-processed anything until I had a go at the colour curves on those five, and hence the world of sharpening is an unknown place for me. However I've just tried it and ... well ... it helps, doesn't it!

I think I need to take this discussion elsewhere (a new thread beckons) but many thanks for the tip. smile

I haven't done a lot this year. Lots of changes and emotional upheaval has meant I just haven't been in the mood to pick up the camera. Hope to change that this year with the planned purchase of a 70D and a Sigma 10-20mm lens.

Enough waffle, here's my five.

Are you open for constructive criticism?
For me, photo above would be one of the best posted in this thread if you would remove the flare and vignetting/grad filter from the sky. IMO it would look MUCH better and matching the crops if the sky would be sharp, vibrant and bright, even if the clouds would have to be slightly overexposed.
As it is, the top of the photo doesn't work with the bottom of it. And flare just does nothing to it, it looks like it was missed in PP.

Some lovely shots on here chaps and chapesses.

It makes me realise how many photos I take for work and can't share them here and how many I actually take when I'm out and about.

So in no particular order some shots I like from 2013.
