The flickr phone/ipad apps seem to lack the posting options you get on the main site for some reason.
Thanks Ben biggrin

I could have sworn I posted others by phone, must be old age creeping in.

Found this little fella waiting on the beach the other day. Assume waiting for mum to come back from a fishing trip.... although possibly a little older than that and already trying to make it alone!

I bet you think that's funny! by Dan_1981, on Flickr

You could do it by using the flickr site from the browser on your phone, but if there is a way to get a BBcode link from the app I've never found it.

A few of mine from up in the big smoke today.

I know all of these would much better pictures if I was there early or late on a bright day. But was happy to experiment with lots of new things to look at and different editing styles.

As always CC welcome.

Crichton Castle by Mike Smith, on Flickr

Got really, really cold taking this and it was a pita to process due to being on the flight path (cloning out the plane trails in amongst the star trails is not that much fun weeping )

The end result is a bit meh but the Fuji performed very nicely (as usual!) and I sort of enjoyed myself smile

Very nice. Driving this morning I saw a similar scene that looked like it could be great for a photo but I didn't achieve anywhere near the same results.
I'm a very green beginner so constructive criticism welcome

That picture is actually 10 shots stacked in photomatix, tone compressed to taste, then final local adjustments adjusted in Photoshop. There are approx 35 stops of dynamic range in that pic compressed into 8 stops of jpeg range.

scratchchin Not sure! It's definitely good enough to keep but maybe wouldn't make your 2017 Calendar if you see what I mean...

I like it but there's a few things that detract. The light source on the right draws the eye and the whole sky seems very bright (was it full moon or something?). Your astrophotography is so ridiculously good that you've set your own bar unreasonably high. hehe
