Sorting through some old stuff and found these:
Vintage by Graham Taylor, on Flickr
More profoundly though was this one:
If you don't recognise him, his name was Ron Clark (DFC) and he was a pilot in the mid-40s flying with 100Sqn on Lancasters. I took this in 2012 when he was being fitted up with flight gear and being given the controls of the BBMF Lancaster to fly over the unveiling of the Bomber Command Memorial in London with a poppy drop - significant as he served on 'Phantom of the Ruhr' which the Lanc was painted as at that time. Sadly he passed away the year after. Great guy!

Thanks for the kind words guys!
I replaced my 5D (Mk1) with a 6D and went to Japan the other month. Can't recommend it enough on every level – culinary, cultural, spiritual, architectural… but possibly not financial.

Better weather than we had a few weeks ago......Last nights effort.

Hence I put up with the midges, these lovely sunsets are becoming rarer it seems

Such a sweet shot!Out in Sweden currently shooting some images for an upcoming article on the Sjöfartsverkets and their station in Kalinge - seriously awesome bunch of guys, never been made to feel so at home before.
I would've liked to have got the whole helicopter in but I couldn't get out far enough having just been winched up.

Can anyone give me any advice as to how to remove the VW advert off the side of the building in this photo. My photoshop skills are limited to small amounts of cloning or healing but its beyond me. More just after advice not asking anyone to do it.

I will just have to except it. The only way to get around it will be to visit Rome again when the poster isn't there
One might guess that an appropriate payment could ensure that the electronic hoarding is "out of use" for a short period. You just need to negotiate the short period and be sure you are there to make use of your investment.Rogue86 said:

You would need to brush it out and then add some texture. Definitely not an easy one to have a crack at though!Gassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
