I've had a couple of trips up to Scotland delivering Porsches to my customers, the first, to Ayr, was a washout, flat grey skies all around, the second, Monday / Tuesday to Aberdeen and back was a little more successful but still frustrating.
That's a beauty. Just a few miles from my house and my most photographed area. Shame I didn't know you were up here. Did you get any other shots around Stonehaven? Here's a shot I took today. I've done the War Memorial so many times now, but this one was at the request of a client. The residents of an old folks home wanted a shot of the memorial with daffodils. There weren't many daffodils around the side I wanted to shoot from so I had to improvise as you will see from the original.

Thanks mate, didn't know you were up that way? Just this one shot this trip, was straight up Monday, overnighted in Monifieth and up to Aberdeen early Tuesday, jumped in a 996 Turbo then back home. I should do an East coast trip some time, the beach at Monifieth had a lot of potential, I am sure there are better shots to be had out of this castle, and the war memorial looks good (I'll keep an eye out for the abundant daffodils!)markmullen said:

Well Rob, it seems like even the hideous cloud of your weather offers a number of silver linings. It would have been a great shame if this one had somehow slipped through the processing net due to the pressure of newer material.Gassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
