This is the first shot I've edited for it...

All looks good but those fingernails!!! yikes
And with equine photography you are looking for the (horse's) ears pointing forwards, back like that generally means the animal is scared. Just in case you are looking to sell to the horsey market.

I don't know if I'm being a bit OCD here, but since Flickr updated it really bugs me that the titles come out alongside the shot rather than below them. I know you can hit enter in the right place when posting to make it look how it did before, but I really hope they fix it soon.

And at risk of being shot down I do like the fact photo's viewed in Flickr take up much more of the screen now.

Thanks Robbie. I started off in Tehran (Emirates airlines via Dubai) I spent some time in northern Tehran before flying to the southern city of Shiraz for a few days.

Ah Tehran looks stunning - that's where I'd go ideally. Was it ever uncomfortable with the locals? I'm absolutely convinced the "anti-West" mentality is massively exaggerated but I feel like my missus isn't going to believe me.

Tehran is a great place to visit - so many photo opportunities. I took well over 1k shots in 3 weeks. I'll be processing them for the next month! I've not seen much in the way of anti west prejudice in the times I've been in Iran but, like anywhere else, it helps if you can speak a bit of the language and make the effort with the locals. Getting there is the hardest part. Not the flights but the paperwork. In the absence of diplomatic relations at present, I had to go to the embassy in Dublin to get a visa. Some of the escorted tours offer this service and, if you haven't been before, they may well be the best option.
Some more pics, this time from the ruins of the ancient city of Persepolis, some 40 miles outside of Shiraz:
