Something a bit different from me as Mrs Baz is now officially Mrs Baz after our wedding on Friday...she even surprised the crap out of me by having a bagpipe and drums band arriving midway through the evening to make it even more of a Scottish wedding here in Germany for us...

Cheers guys, if anyone here is out on the Outer Hebrides for the next week and a half keep an eye out for the Monaro and us (as we will be in our wedding outfits to take some photos in the gear at our favourite locations back home):-

Vatersay Beaches (where I proposed 2 years ago)
Around Barra
Luskentyre etc
Calanais Standing Stones
Mols Foirsgeo (gods head) beach
The Quiraing
Neist Point
Old Man Of Storr
Eilean Donan Castle

Gonna be great fun and Mrs Baz already suggested we take along a tartan hat as no doubt the tourists will want pics of us too, 5 quid a pop would be great ha ha biggrin

Yeah, we've been watching it going back and forth and are happy with the current forecast (here's hoping it stays this way!)

It's going to be great fun shooting the pics of ourselves at all these spots in our wedding outfits:-

You know when they joke that fast estates are best for when you need to get somewhere quickly with your Labrador...
Well, there's a grain of truth in every saying wink

Not a patch on a lot of the above, but was really chuffed to be able to take my dad to a local show on Saturday so that he could see the Lancasters, which his dad (my granddad) flew during WW2.

My 70-300mm Sigma lens was found badly wanting...! Great experience though - tempting to try to see them again before the second one heads back across the Atlantic.

They are awesome for single frame astro.

Single frame astro is pretty much what it shall be doing 99% of the time , Had a play with my 24-70 2.8 last night but really yearned for something wider - Cheers Rob
