I've got an unexpected trip to Glencoe coming up, I'm helping to set up a rescue boat in York after a series of deaths in the rivers this year, I've been doing the RYA Powerboat courses at Port Edgar near DD's bridges but they couldn't fit me in this time, so I'm doing the next one at Ballachulish. Needless to say I'll be taking some kit with me and getting out to do a bit whilst up there.
I passed through Glencoe two days ago and its looking absolutely stunning at the moment ! The colours are out of this world ! Wish it was me !

Good work that man.

Talking of good work, I sent off for 100 christmas cards from photobox at 15.45 on Thursday, they arrived up here first post Friday!

..and no, none of you are getting one.

ETA: This kind of amused me:

I'll swap you one of your Christmas cards for one of mine. Of course, Merry Christmas over the top of a housing estate in the South East isn't quite as evocative. May I tempt you to a poodle in a Santa's hat instead?
