Patterned Hole by bowden.harry, on Flickr

My efforts this morning whilst the Peaks were shrouded in fog. I tried to make the most of my early rise on the weekend.

I'm slightly disillusioned with Flickr so I will post my 500px link too as I prefer the instant gratification of people looking at my pictures without the need for hundreds of followers.

C&C welcomed.

I took a lot of photos at last weekends NHRA Finals. Going to take sometime to sort through them.

I made my annual pilgrimage to the Rhythm Riot last weekend. Picked up a 6D just before, great little camera.

Just picked up a Samyang 8mm fisheye, hoping I'll get to use it in anger for some aviation and astro stuff soon.

Full set of Hot Blade 14 images are up on my FB page now if anyone wants a gander, always like a bit of C+C smilehttps://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.80150317...
Magazine ended up using my article as an 8 page digital bonus story, which looked fantastic!

Ladybower yesterday was so so still, lasted for about half an hour after that the reflections vanished completely.

Shame the sky was so devoid of anything approaching interesting.

If you have the RAW file there may be something that can be developed out of the sky and its reflection. Whether it can be attractive is another matter - but worth a try.

I did shoot it in raw and did have a play with it in Elements. The above was the best I could get it, but all I really did was have a play with the levels in the raw editor.

The sky was just a flat grey really with very very few features. Shame really.

Tried a grad filter effect on the sky? Lower the highlights a bit, tinker with the exposure, see what comes out?

(Assuming you can do that in Elements anyway. I've got it but use LR almost exclusively now.)
