Right - not worth a thread of its own so I'll stick it in here: Can anybody please recommend a wide-ish Canon fit f2.8 zoom which will work on full frame and crop and is not too pricey? Cheers smile

How wide?
I have a 28-70 f2.8 sigma you can have for a small consideration. I'll even meet you in SQF to try it out on your fav subject winkbiggrin

Cheers but probably not wide enough for the Crop sensor. I've come round to the way of thinking that I can't do it in one lens - so maybe something like a 15-85 for the crop + a Samyang 14mm f2.8 for astro (and yes I've had both before paperbag)

Why Samyang gets a bad rap is beyond me - they're calls. Greats shots Lloyd.

clap These are great Lloyd!

My first effort in ages as I have been laid up - had to find a spot where I could set it up then go and sit in the car to keep warm!

Thanks guys. Really impressed with the lens, so sharp. Glad I didn't fork out the extra money for the Nikkor 10.5mm now.

Great shot DD!
