Just harder to rob I think.3... but 2 and 1 were the same.
I've got a Pentax 645Z to play with. Sadly I've also got a lot of work on so no real time to play, but whipped into York Minster this evening to try out the resolution.
I really wanted the camera to be crap and not to want one..... Sadly it is beyond awesome.

A personal opinion only - it's not terrible, it's not great. It looks like it was a lovely sunrise but whatever camera you're using it didn't really do it justice, but with some small composition changes it could have been a bit better. From a photography perspective, you've done the traditional 'putting the horizon in the middle' that so many people do. The sunrise is really the focus of that shot, so personally I'd have changed perspective and composed the shot with the horizon 1/3 of the way up (so 2/3 of the scene is the sky.)
I'd also try and avoid having vertical objects crossing that horizon where possible (the telescope/binoculars thing.)
If you're interested look up the rule of thirds, it's only a set of guidelines to use and it can be broken - but it's a good place to start.
HTH.
Love looking at these pages, they are a great inspiration for beginners like me.

They are for awhile, give it a couple of years and you're into 'I'm still taking crap photo's, and where in seven hells can I find some foreground interest in the home counties?!?!' territory.tenohfive said:
