No editing tricks Dave. It's just the way the lighting works with that shape of light trough. Its a lovely looking feature.

Fantastic effort! Are those stacked images or just one long exposure with strobes?
Single 30 second exposure, selfie, remote triggered and ligth painted with my head torch. Straight raw conversion too, no editing.

clap Incredible! My mate moved to NZ recently and he wanted to start doing timelapses of the stars but wasn't sure how well he could do there. I swiftly navigated him to your work and gave him a link to a light pollution map. hehe
Cool! Where abouts are they? We have some good groups here to help out.

For some reason that really appeals to my sense of humour ...

I could see that as a poster with a caption. Not sure would the caption would say though ...

Agreed.

Mostly the sort that should look far far better printed large and hung on a wall than they will trashed for the web.

They might require a bit of work to hit the heights but that's normal.

Epic!!!

Tricky shot to get, shooting at 1/100th and a weird angle made panning harder than usual!

You could well be right.

Or South.

Maybe East or West.

Choices, choices ....

Thanks for the compliments!

I have been thinking of printing a few out to hang up. What are you referring to by the 'bit of work'? Some adjustments to bring the images out a little? Any advice would be welcomed smile
