Nice work Kieron
Agreed.Mostly the sort that should look far far better printed large and hung on a wall than they will trashed for the web.
They might require a bit of work to hit the heights but that's normal.
I have been thinking of printing a few out to hang up. What are you referring to by the 'bit of work'? Some adjustments to bring the images out a little? Any advice would be welcomed
I'm no expert for passing in corrections but there are a few here who will be able to provide guidance.
What to do depends a lot on what you want the final result to be. Current styles suggest Pastel, Subtle or over-the-top in-your-face. The approach for each would be different.

I've got a Pentax 645Z to play with. Sadly I've also got a lot of work on so no real time to play, but whipped into York Minster this evening to try out the resolution.
I really wanted the camera to be crap and not to want one..... Sadly it is beyond awesome.

Do you think the new Canon will be able to compete, or will the larger sensor trump the Canon, whatever the pixel count?I really wanted the camera to be crap and not to want one..... Sadly it is beyond awesome.

Larger pixels and larger sensor (1.7 times the 35mm), larger lenses, plus sony's fabled better dynamic range means the 645z will have better output. But the canon will have much faster fps, bracketing, autofocus etc, and a wider range of lenses.

I hope the early reviews of the Canon and any hands-on I get will still persuade me to save the cash, size, limited lens choice etc. and I can go for the Canon. My concern being that I often over-work photos = painting, adding and layering and then pushing them onto canvas etc. sometimes at large scales, which 4x5" and 6x17cm let me get away with in the past.

Currently waiting for the wedding season to kick off, so I leapt at the chance to go and shoot a couple of catwalk shows at the London Fashion Weekend yesterday.

Stunning!May I ask a quick question... you mentioned that you possibly earn more from workshops etc. than print sales, so is the medium format digital gear you use paying for itself?

I think you have me mistaken with Mark Mullen.. I shoot canon/sony 35mm not MF, what I earn would go nowhere towards MF gear!May I ask a quick question... you mentioned that you possibly earn more from workshops etc. than print sales, so is the medium format digital gear you use paying for itself?
