I was out playing with my new camera at the weekend and basically learning about something other than point and shoot on the iPhone!

Considering these are my first attempt I am not toooooo unhappy with these:

Thank you.

I have gone full novice - using a Canon 1200D and the boggo 18-55 lens.

Going to invest in a 200mm lens to take to places like Silverstone, where the action is a little further away.

In most public locations at Silverstone you will likely find that even at 200mm the action is still further away ... frown

Quite. Castle Combe, Rockingham, Oulton Park and even Donington are good for a 200... but then you don't get Hamilton etc.

Thanks for the advice chaps.

The busiest thing I am likely to go to at Silverstone is the WEC so at least will be able to find as advantageous position as possible in the public areas - Le Mans is what will be a challenge for me!
