Another one with the Tamron 16-300 - not too shabby considering the compromises in a lens like this smile

Can anyone suggest any locations for a good sunrise within a reasonable (30-45 minute) drive of Trowbridge? Will be passing down that way soon.
Cheddar Gorge looks within reach, but no idea if it'd work for a sunrise.

Anywhere else to consider?

Not sure Cheddar Gorge would work at all, but you do have Glastonbury Tor and Avebury and Stonehenge stone circles nearby.

I've got landscape lenses but for some reason I keep using my 135mm F2 instead.

No such thing as a landscape lens only the right lens!

And that looks damned right!

Really, really like that. I reckon it would work brilliantly as a pure monochromatic or split toned bw print too.

Picked up a cheap TC14-B teleconverter, trying it out on the Tokina ATX-400. Can probably do better than this with it though.
