Few more from me from over the weekend - bit annoyed that the top one seems to come out a lot darker at the bottom than in my original. Maybe something to do with the uploader, who knows? But it's definitely darker frown

Some corkers there. My favourite is the dark orange sunlight coming through the clouds. May I ask how you managed that effect post-processing?

Many thanks

Thanks Ross, I used a heavy orange soft grad filter, and exposed for the sunlight. Then a boost of contrast and a tweak of levels had them standing out proud.

Haven't posted for a while, busy with work and not that many exciting things happening but lots of plans in the pipeline.
Spent 10 minutes browsing through the last 10 pages or so, still love the variety of work that appears in this thread!

I was out in Tunisia over the weekend covering the Formula One Air Race/Air Race 1 debut in North Africa for FLYER magazine, will be out in the August issue.

Then the start of last week I was at RNAS Culdrose flying with 771 NAS.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, really appreciate it. I really need to have a good learn with photoshop (elements). I've had a good look and been through a fee YouTube tutorials which has really helped.

I've also signed up for an online photography course which was very heavily discounted. Whether it'll give me more info than what I know already and what help I have had from here I'm not sure. But it has lots of assessed modules on various things which will force me to get out and take pics of different things in different settings and light conditions which can only help me progress.

Having said that, I was really happy with a few of my pics the other day, especially this one....

Not many exciting things happening Lloyd?

Obviously not, based on the evidence.

How do you stay awake?

wink

Great shots.
