Out of interest - see how different the light is in winter when we get high pressure from the north, not south. Not most people's cup of tea I know, but it's when I like it the best up here. The air is so 'thin' distant horizons are razor sharp. (Mind you, driving a Caterham can be interesting.) You'll know exactly where I was standing when I took this Mike.
BTW I mentioned to DD - for anyone interested ITV tomorrow (Sunday) night 7 pm - Julian Clary did some Pine Marten filming from my house - it finally made it through the edit. I've no idea what it's like… but you'll be pleased to know I stay WELL behind the camera.

Agree completely about the light btw - been up once in the winter and it was definitely sharper
