I've been all the way round it really close - enough to touch it, (doing a heron survey), but have never stood on it. (nowhere easy to get on unless you are very small boat). I have spoken to some who have been on it and they say that it's REALLY difficult to traverse. Nowhere big enough to pitch a tent.
You should get on - clear it the centre and then have your own version of the Wicker Man
