Some fantastic shots on here this last couple of days.

I went out tonight with a particular spot in mind to capture it at sunset but misjudged it. I didn't make it so spent time on a cr*ppy bit of beach with a great sunset and didn't come away with anything.

I did however snap this windmill earlier in the day, and on the way home I spotted the Pier lit up in the dying embers of the day so stopped the car and snapped this with the missus and kids glaring at me from the car wanting their dinner biggrin

Brave and entirely justified in my opinion.

First trip out with the new D750 - Managed to drop my D600 and 24/70 2.8 into a river at the beginning of the month frown Thank god for insurance !

Edit - Looks a bit dodgy now though, unsure if its the crop or flickr....

In the spirit of constructive criticism - to my eye there's a bit too much space on the right, compounded by the 'lean' of the left-hand trees. Centre the group of trees in the image and take a bit off the bottom and to me it looks more balanced.

Just a (cropped) snap through a window from my iPhone, all the different colour balances make it look like a CGI rendering from GTA or a cut-n-paste, but other than a couple of minor tweaks it is straight from the phone. Wish I had had my DSLR and tripod with me, but they tend to be frowned upon in the wards of LGI.

Just back from a trip to Amsterdam. Liked it - didn't love it. Not the Venice of the North at all. Light was flat as a pancake for most of the time which didn't help. Got a few half decent pics to share though smile

My post started out as a hyperbole filled compliment and then I just lost my temper with you.
