Were they 'before and after' pics, or should that be 'after and before' pics judging by the number of cakes shown in the latter pic?
Seriously though before the scones vanished, what was the lens you used?
It was a 24-70 at 24mm - but I generally use it on the 10-20mm (on a crop sensor, so about 16mm equiv)Seriously though before the scones vanished, what was the lens you used?
Love that starscape. And the second one from Wildcards above.
I took this one yesterday. Even as I was trudging along the road in the pissing rain through the Nato-spec exclusion zone that now exists around Stonehenge (becos they want your fifteen quid per head to not actually get much nearer the stones) from the nearest layby over a mile away, even as I was slipping through sheepst over muddy fields, there was a little voice in my head mocking me "like, it's not as if there aren't eleventy zillion photos of Stonehenge in the world already. What do you honestly think you're going to add to the genre on a pissy wet day like this..."
But I haven't been there since I was about eight, and this is mine. So there. With added bonus crow

Looks a lot different to when I was down at the start of January. Was lucky not to be blown away! Where else did you visit on your adventures down that neck of the woods Rob?
Had some spare time over in Guernsey so went for a wonder after work, the weather was really bad, grey sky, raining and we nearly got blown over a few times

Both these were hand held, really should have used the tripod, but the weather beat us.

Next time I'm over hopefully the weather will be better and we can try again

Not guilty, your honour. I had to rope a model in to a day of shooting for marketing material as selfies weren't going to cut it. Although if they could, I could pay myself twice. DibblyDobbler said:

Even Rob does it with some of his star shots ....

Yep, it was fun getting our lights back Inside Tower by The Rain Maker, on Flickr
If you're really brave you can climb onto the roof up a 10ft rope someone has left behind (we weren't)
Lovely sunset in Bournemouth tonight. Watched the Falcons coming in and going out:

An unusual shot from me (in black and white) of a trio of washed up logs which someone decided to plant in the sand of Cannon Beach over here in Oregon with Haystack Rock in the background (the fictional "island" in the Goonies movie)...
