Unexpectedly snowy trip to the Grand Canyon -- didn't expect to need crampons.

My camera club runs workshops and tonight was the second introduction to studio photography session. I thought it went pretty well, I was certainly less nervous than last time and it was good fun. I may book in for a studio day in the next month or two.

This was probably one of my best of the night. I was thinking of putting it in for one of our league competitions so C&C or any advice would be most welcome.

Not too bad! I'm not an expert on that stuff but her forward leg is the brightest thing there and looking like the subject, try tone that down a little bring up the face/upper body?

A snowy visit to Mount St Helens volcano a couple of weekends ago, getting to this vantage point meant fighting my way through 3 feet deep snow biggrin

No where near the standard of most in this thread, but I'm learning.

But the jist of it, I turned up too late for the nice colours but got a few reasonable ones. This is 4/5 pano, but I cant work out or find the lens correction for a 700D and a Samyang 14mm. So the horizon is very wavey.

I've ordered myself a better tripod and a cheapy Pano adaptor, so just need my kids to stop playing up at night so I can try again.

Alex.

Thanks Rob!

Parents want some images of all the pets, so here's one of them.

Still haven't got a clue what I'm doing in LR but getting there, I definitely should have dialled down the length of exposure and got more clarity in the waves but hey ho.

The flickr phone/ipad apps seem to lack the posting options you get on the main site for some reason.
