Thanks Rob, Great shot from you too. Is that a blend of multiple frames? Would seem a huge DR in that image, yet it looks totally natural.

Cheers, nope single shot, even on my canon 6d! had a grad filter on and the center is blown but works

Thats a great image Rob, if you ever end up doing a course in the Naki please stick it up on FB as I love to attend.

A couple from a quick trip out tonight, been wanting to try this for a little while but the conditions came together just roght tonight.

The exposure isn't perfect in either (although better in the first) but I didn't have too long as the clouds were slowly heading towards the moon.

Been wanting this shot for ages - as you can see I nearly missed it after inexplicably missing the button on my shutter release and needing a second attempt. Nerves clearly got to me hehe

Looks more like a Boeing than a Transit DD.

What would be really impressive on a shot like that would be some fill flash to lighten the plane a little.

Not sure that there are any strobes that would do it. A searchlight perhaps? WW2 style? I don't suppose you can get the bulbs for them these days. Bloody EU regulations ....

I suppose one of those powerful laser thingies would be out of the question .....?
