Out of curiosity whats the story behind this church? I saw it on a episode of Fstoppers on youtube. They were there filming a tutorial and I couldn't believe the amount of people there in the middle of the night shooting it.

That will be Ella locardi I suspect.

The church? A historic (for NZ) church on the shore of a beautiful lake with a car park big enough for several tour bus's.

Its people like me who have made it famous somewhat and that now attracts photographers from all over at all times.

When I first shot astro there I was alone. Now you cant have it to yourself any time of day or night :/

Literally coachloads of people.

That could be a really great image, but having the bottom and right cut off spoils it for me.
Still makes me want a drone though.

Right, the light tonight was rubbish,500m out and it started raining. If you don't approve of this one I give up and you can do it. biglaugh

The windmills spoil it for me but that's pretty much the same with every half decent fking view North of the Watford gap.
I think your picture is great. I wouldn't fancy flying my drone out to sea.

eta. I was on about the first one. Can't see them in the 2nd one.... perfect

Trying to get some video. Don't want to bother them too much as they can get rather friendly. I shall post a link if I do.

Starting to experiment a little with in camera double exposures, it is going to take a while to learn what works and what doesn't but I quite like this one. It is a single scene but with the camera flipped 180 degrees between exposures.
