I have got to start getting up earlier! I know exactly where that's taken from which makes it even more impressive as I was a little underwhelmed with the glacier when I saw it in person, but the opposite is true of this picture. I am starting to think the wind and the rain follow me around, I'm off to lake Brunner early tomorrow and without looking at the weather, I can guarantee those 2 things will be present!

I've been there sooo many times lol. This particular time we'd walked in the night before, pretty average sunset, camped overnight in -15. bloody freezing my water bottle froze solid lol, couldnt change my tripod height as it had frosted up so much. Its what its all about though.

Weather looks like it drops off a cliff at the weekend :/

I noticed one of the magazines is doing an article on this location in the current issue, are these linked to that?

600mm equivalent yes - not much love for this kind of beast on here but the results seem good so far. The lens is a belter and the sensor may only be an inch but it's a good inch smile

No this was just shot last night when we visited. Thanks for thinking it could be in a magazine though.

Thanks Justin, It was a little over saturated for me but I didn't have a tripod and I was sat eating dinner! It really is a beautiful location and I think you could point your camera in any direction and get a great photo. Good luck for the wedding, please post the photos when you do.

I think it's a cracker

I have the RX100 and for a small sensor it's incredible too. Loving some of the recent sony kit . Shame i don't have more money !
