600mm equivalent yes - not much love for this kind of beast on here but the results seem good so far. The lens is a belter and the sensor may only be an inch but it's a good inch smile
Does this supplement or replace the X-T1????

Supplement... for now wink

Going to try some side-by-side landscape shots and see if I can tell the different - I fully expect the XT-1 to be clearly better!

Incidentally I also have a Canon 760 for macro (with a 100mm) - I tried The Rx10 with a Raynox on it and it looks very impressive there also so maybe I can get shot of my Canon gear and keep the Sony and the Fuji - this would be a result! smile

Good because the way you are going you would end up with Casio P&S followed by a mobile phone as you move forward on your quest for an ever decreasing sensor size!!!

6D -> 760/X-T1 -> RX10 -> ?????

Anyway it doesn't really matter if you sell the X-T1, as Fuji's are a boomerang brand, you'll be back!!!!

Yes quite probably! I've bought and sold (and bought again) what seems like dozens of cameras and lenses over the years. Keeps me amused smile

I think it's a cracker

I have the RX100 and for a small sensor it's incredible too. Loving some of the recent sony kit . Shame i don't have more money !
Cheers Chris - you're already killing it with what you have so have no need of more kit! smile

What nonsense is this - we all know the only reason your photo's are any good Steve is because your camera has loads of megapixels. Right?

I've been there sooo many times lol. This particular time we'd walked in the night before, pretty average sunset, camped overnight in -15. bloody freezing my water bottle froze solid lol, couldnt change my tripod height as it had frosted up so much. Its what its all about though.

Weather looks like it drops off a cliff at the weekend :/
This is the first time I've had internet for a few days, I've been on a bit of an adventure, more so than I'd planned. The weather hasn't disappointed my expectations, but at least there's some snow on the mountains now.

Camping in -15? That is dedication, I've got to walk the Copland pass one day, but probably not in the winter.

I've had a bit of a look through your flickr, I recognise most of the south island locations and there's some dedication to your positioning in some of them! How did you get those Nugget point ones? Did you just climb straight up the side of the hill from the path? It's pretty steep! Also wish I knew how to make that boat ramp disappear at lake Rotoiti!

What was the adventure?

Nugget yes climb up the cliff, its only a few hundred meter drop off the side lol. Obviously for sunrise you do it in the dark , not sure if thats an advantage or disadvantage..

Hmm Lake Rotoiti, calm and reflections help, its shallow and sheltered there which also helps the reflections, no polariser!
