A few from the Prescott hillclimb meeting on Sunday 5th September. Went to celebrate my 70th birthday and to try photographing something other than bugs!

Need more sense of speed.
Google 'panning', or ask one of the experts on here (I won't pretend to advise you - would probably embarrass myself! ).Best bet to start out is find yourself on the inside of a corner (probably slow-to-medium speed) - that way the rate-of-change of distance from the lens to the subject is very small so the camera's auto-focus doesn't have to work very hard, so you can concentrate on YOUR technique.
I learned by thinking of it the same way as clay-pigeon shooting - 'follow-through' smoothly as you're pulling the trigger/pressing the shutter, don't pan-stop-press.
Nice light up one of my local hills the other afternoon. I wonder how many near-identical photos I've taken given how often I'm up there...

Thanks Rob. I don't have another lens, but I know for next time where I need to take more shots, it seems to work well except where it's trying to match the concave distortion in the centre of one frame with the convex distortion on the edge of the next. As that only occurs at the very edge of the frame, it should be easy to avoid with a bit of an overlap. It's quite surprising just how much of an overlap is needed though.
Straight out of the camera as I can't edit on this laptop.
