Picked up a Samyang 10mm f2.8 recently with the aim of trying to get into astrophotography after being inspired by some of the brilliant shots on here. I haven't managed to find the opportunity to get out at night yet, but took it on a few daytime walks to try it out. I am really liking how much bigger the photos feel, but it presents its own challenges too.
I think I am starting to get the hang of the manual focus, but it is a little frustrating trying to zoom on the camera screen to make sure the picture isn't blurry. Pretty happy with the few below. Any hints on getting used to the manual focus would be welcome. Thanks.

I'm a big fan of Samyang, I have their 8mm fisheye and it's fantastic. Although I think I've knocked it at some point as over time it's developed an issue where it tends to lose on the LH side of the image unless it's stopped down.
Some shots from a couple of weeks back, taken in Catania/Sicily/over the sea!

Yep plenty of better places to get pics of the bridge, this was just a test shot from the top of my work building (taken through glass).
Ah, I thought you may have just been visiting Sydney (for some reason I thought was from the café level on one of the new buildings down that area.Santa Con NYC
