^ lovely colours. I always struggle getting a nice balance at night and always chicken out to B&W!

Quick and dirty snap from the train home tonight. Loving having a camera small and light enough to always have it with me. Since putting a screen protector on the X-T2 I can just chuck it in my usual satchel thing without worrying.

The one behind is bigger, has a more pronounced dip at the top of its head and has a slightly pinker nose. Also the one in front has a more pointy snout.

Thankyou for your (admittedly somewhat delphic) comments smile

My love affair with my X-T2 is really getting going now. Stunned by some of the images it can produce, even compared to my old 6d 24-70 2.8ii getup. Even doing the 100% pixel peeping pointless examination isn't disappointing me – although my last crop-sensor body was a 20D. Things have moved on. A couple from a recent press trip to Vienna.

Nice!

How much is of that is from seeing exactly what you are going to get in the viewfinder I wonder?

No poorly exposed images, you can easier see the composition and colours and how it will look

A lot of it is that I think – certainly I only had my 6d for 8 months and used a 5d mk1 for a few years before that. The screen on the 5d bore as much relation to the actual capture as Donald Trump's words do to fact. The AF system is also far more advanced and accurate than the 6D – all the 6D really had going for it was a centre focus point that would work in the pitch dark. Another bonus of the EVF is being able to review photos without any glare or ambient light desaturating what you're seeing. Love it. Just need to decide what lens to get next!

Nice pics Tim smile. I quite like the look of the X-T20 as an upgrade to my X-T1 - bit smaller and cheaper than the X-T2. It's not got some of the features of the X-T2 (eg super-high continuous AF burst, weather sealing, dual slots, 4K - nothing I actually want!) but keeps the new sensor and processor.

The larger faster EVF on the X-T2 and the joystick control of the focus EVF are worth the entry ticket to the X-T2 alone.

Anyway you are in Scotland you need weather sealing!!

Hmm - the larger EVF could just about convince me... what is this joystick thing you speak of though?

Just like on a 5d - lets you move the focus point/zone around and pan around when you're zoomed in on a photo you've taken.

Ah right thanks - that would be too complicated for me. I shoot mainly macro and landscapes so am unaware/uninterested in the subtleties of focus points and all that malarky smile
