I was trying out the old Subaru Legacy hats replaced my Berlingo as the utility car and took along my Tamron 150-600.
It's a big heavy lens but I thought I'd better get some practice in as we're going on safari in April.
This is at 600mm

Compared to an iPhone shot from similar range

I really like that. How did you shoot it?

Cheers. Nothing fancy - just found the centre of the room (easy with the floor markings) then pointed the camera straight up (on a tripod obvs). Over exposed it a wee bit to try and get the colours to pop, then a wee bit of cropping and aligning in PS and job done smile

^ I love that, really pleasing symmetry!

I seem to be taking this photo a lot this year so far. I still love the view from a plane…

I was up in Get Carters neck of the woods at the weekend after my wife surprised me with a stay at the Torridon hotel for my birthday (if you have any reason to be in this area, stay there. It's amazing). The weather was crap so I took some photos of the local cows!
I only got this one processed before coming offshore today.

I'm still impressed with the Tamron 150-600mm, getting more practice in before going to South Africa on safari in a couple of months.
This was another practice shot, a crop from 600mm. They were bloomin miles away.
