A bit worrying when they can't even get the name of the venue correct

It's amazing how popular these sort of things are becoming. Considering that this one involves a race track, a retailer, a championship and it's sponsor it would be interesting to see whether the photographers get to keep the rights to their pictures.

Yeah surely you'd be better off booking a track day and taking your camera with you!

I'm sure they wouldn't cover any techniques or info that you couldn't find with half an hour on google!

This is my thought

It's also the opening round of the British GT Championship - Great meeting, but can't really see any "special" access to non accredited tog's.

£199 for breakfast, dinner and tea does seem a bit steep

You'd be surprised, I've seen this sort of thing at an International GT Open meet at Brands a couple of years ago and I've also seen a photographer advertising to take folks trackside at the 6 hours of Silverstone. I guess if you can supply adequate insurance and can offer the circuits/organisers a good slice of the pie then anything is possible.

For the people who go in for this it isn't about learning technique it's about getting trackside and if they think it's worth 200 quid then good luck to them.

Cheaper to grab your own PLI and find an outlet!
