It would certainly be advantageous not to meet right there. There are similarly impossible, if likely less lethal, stretches on the Isle of Mull. You learn to reverse, carefully, as far as necessary.

To me it looks 'shopped in the sense of being cropped and rotated to make the rock cut appear to be overhung, which would also gives the road an appearance of adverse camber. It would look more natural rotated a few degrees anticlockwise.
