Ha just returned from 3 weeks touring France. left the south as was pissed of with 17 degrees and howling wind. Roaring water past the bridge at Nevers was fun. Diversions around Orleans took forever. Campsite at Versailles full as a shedload of others flooded. So headed to Normandy for DDay +72.

We must of been lucky as a result of not having to find it hard to get into Orlean throughout our trip. However, our route though Bloir to get to Chinon was an utter nightmare and as soon as we arrived in Chinon 3 hours later, we immediately saw a some poor sod in a body bag being loaded into a car by Police .
