Rules:
The photos taken must be your own work
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month
There will be two threads that need starting: The Entries thread to commence same time as Discussion thread. In the Entries thread only one picture should be entered. Any others you wish to discuss should be posted in the Discussion thread.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Photos entered should be no bigger than 750 pixels wide for a landscape photo and 600 pixels high for a portrait photo due to the PH squash factor. Links to larger versions are permissible.

That first entry - awesome!
Heres a shot of St Pauls. I took this in mind of the clouds and the storm that was brewing over London last Wednesday.

It's my first post on this forum! I saw this topic and I just had to enter. I have a ton amazing sky fotos, but this one was really special.
I took this shot about a year ago in Paris. I saw this amazing sky with light rays and I just had to take a picture. I really Like the light rays near the Eifel Tower, it sets apart.

Can't possibly compete with the entries above, so here's something different:
