NB this is not an advert!

I need to sell a couple of lenses and want to sell directly to a trader; no ebay etc. These guys have made the best offer which involves couriering the lenses to them (at their expense).

It all seems above board but do let me know if you know otherwise!

Although I've not sold anything to Cameraworld, I'd recommend them as a customer. My good customer service anecdote:

Their London shop is a proper camera shop, with knowledgeable staff. I've bought a few things from there and, last month, a Lowepro bag. They were just about the cheapest I could find. I'd called ahead to check it was in stock and when I got there they'd put aside the display bag. However, the person dealing with me said 'let me go and see if we have one downstairs' - and he fetched a sealed one for me. When I queried the price (the website price was a few £ cheaper than the price he told me), he checked their website, said I was correct and grabbed the display price to change it.

Ditto I can vouch for them too. I am local to their Chelmsford shop and the staff are all photographers rather than salesmen. I bought a second tripod for travel and settled on a Velbon Ultra Trek. After my first trip away the rubber grips came loose on two legs and for the first time ever I couldn't find the receipt... to make it worse I had paid cash. Camera World staff said no problem and wrote me a new receipt and sent it off to be repaired/replaced. All sorted now smile
