Last night, I uploaded this shot to my Facebook page, and within an hour I had 3 people interested in purchasing a print.

In the past I have always sold my images with a wide black frame and a white border/mount (as seen below) but this time I think it's time to offer something different. Or is it?

Is the traditional black frame/white mount the safest bet to maximise sales since it fits with almost any décor?

If it was up to you, how would you present it?

Are you able to offer a few different frames of standardized sizes? When they purchase just give them the options then bang in the print?

Obviously you won't be able to keep in every design if you decide to offer a few but the frame suppliers lead time could just be added to the dispatch time?

Personally I don't like black frames, or thick ones.

The white mount is fine but you should offer alternatives to black IMHO. Dark wood, light wood and a metallic would be my suggestions.

Black frame with white mount is always the best seller, but I sell gold frame with black mount almost as much. I think your image would look great with a gold frame, perhaps better with a white mount.

Isnt it easier just to sell the print and let them frame it..?
