Sigma 70-300 APO DG f/4-5.6 - questions
Discussion
I have the chance to acquire the aforementioned lens (brand new) for...well...basically free.
I appreciate it's not going to be spectacular as it's classed as a budget lens, but I've seen a few photos taken with it and they look pretty good. I'd be using it with a Nikon D5100, and I have a couple of confirmation questions:
I'm pretty sure it'll fit onto the D5100 with no problem, is this the case?
And will it autofocus when combined with the D5100? Again, I'm fairly sure it should, just want to confirm.
If anyone has any experience with the lens that'd be great, any pictures taken with it even greater (more great?)
Thanks all!

As long as you get the Nikon mount version it will fit on the D5100. Looking at the specs for that lens (assuming I've linked to the correct one!) on the Wex website, it would appear to have a motor built in, so should autofocus on your D5100.

That looks like the one!
In that case then, I'll look at getting it ordered, thanks
Edit:
That PixelPeep site looks like a great resource, I hadn't seen it before, thank you

Priceless for comparing specific lenses on specific cameras.
