Hi all,

Rather than have the typical Ikea double decker bus canvas up on the wall I was hoping to buy some photographs online and have them framed or made into a large canvas to decorate our home. Does anyone know of any good sites to source photos? I've looked at a few and they seem quite expensive so far.

Many thanks.

There are a few of us on here who sell prints and canvases, what kind of thing are you looking for?

Probably cheaper to buy the prints.

Huge selection here:

Why not take your own?

My wife recently took a great picture of our kids with her camera phone (Nokia 1020) and I wanted it up on the wall.

I went online and got it printed on 40" x 30" photo paper for around a tenner, got a frame online for around a tenner too.

Photoprint have a deal on for £4.99. (Two days only)

Only my opinion, but that would look so much better if the frame and mount match the image format.

The black bars top and bottom ruin it.

I completely agree, there was a bl**dy sky remote in the picture which I edited out. I have ordered some framing card to sort it out.

A tip, feel free to ignore ....

Move the image up, so that the top and sides of the mount are the same width, put all the extra mount width at the bottom.

Where do you find a gold 40"x30" frame with a mount for a tenner?? I've used these offers before and got posters but I haven't managed to find a suitable frame for them (without spending loads of money!)!

Will see how it looks, thanks.

That one was an eBay bargain, but the mother in law got her basic one for £7 from Tesco.

Thanks guys. To answer a previous question I'd like some pictures mounted of places we've been to on holiday or lived in. We are living abroad in a rented house and want to break up some of the empty walls and make the place a bit more homely.
