Microsoft Surface Pro 3 for photo editing

I'm loving it!

After waiting and waiting and waiting for Apple to release MBA with Retina Display I got fed up lugging my 15" MBP and decided I really need something lighter NOW.

I bought i7 Surface Pro and boy it is good! Photos import very quickly, Lightroom works great using pen input, so does Photoshop. It's fast, quiet, screen is beautiful and editing photos on the sofa/plane is very pleasant.

Give it a try if you are looking for something light and portable!

Mate has a surface pro 3 top end and it's very very nice.

Also has a pro 2 he might sell but I think I want a 3 much better screen

I haven't used surface pro 2 so can't really comment on that but from reviews it sounds like 3 is MUCH better, especially for operating it with a pen.
