Can anyone suggest good places to sell some camera equipment please (and also give me an idea of how much items are worth if that's possible).

I'm selling my late fathers camera equipment and whilst this was his hobby, I've absolutely no idea about them. He was also a master at buying new gadgets without letting anyone find the receipts so I'm a bit stumped on the values for such things.

I've had a look on fleabay to get a rough idea but would assume that there must be enthusiast websites ( the camera equivalent of PH) which would be a better place to sell these in one go.

I have the following together with an assortment of lens covers, filters, cables and booklets:

Canon EOS 60D camera - it looks in almost new condition as he didn't use it for very long.
Canon speed lite 430EX flash
Canon EOS 70-300mm ultrasonic image stabiliser lens
Canon EFS 60mm ultrasonic macro lens
Canon EFS 18-135mm image stabiliser macro 0.39m/1.3ftultrasonic macro lens

Any help would be gratefully received

Mike

p.s - mods, I'm not sure if this type of topic is allowed (it's not an advert) so please delete the thread should you see fit.

I've sold gear to mpb photographic in the past. You can fill out a form on their website and they give you a valuation.
Depends what you've got but it can be similar to what you'd get on ebay after fees but without the potential issues.

Another vote for MPB. Had a dealing with them recently and their service was very efficient. Obviously you'd get the best price when you sell them privately, but I personally prefer the hassle-free way.
