Thanks DD, that's a nice lens and the second hand price looks attractive.

Great shout DD. Samyang has been very well received at its price point but Tokina offers zoom and AF without losing f/2.8 ability. Only downside of Tokina is you can't take it with you from crop to full frame.

Mind if I ask what TP is? I scan eBay, MPB and Cameraworld on and off looking at used lenses but I haven't heard of TP.

Thanks for the replies DD and Andy, Toki it is then as I like the extra reach the crop gives me for the wildlife shots so not going for a new body anytime soon.

Cheers - it's ironic as I don't even really like the pic that much! Had loads over the last year or two that I hoped would make it and didn't, then this one does! Sheesh hehe

Noticed the skies were quite clear last night when I let the dog out. So jumped in the car and drove out to the nearby hills. My lens only goes down to f4 so had to use ISO 6400 on a 30sec exposure. As a result its pretty grainy! If anyone wants to throw me some hints and tips then please do. Astrophotography is something that interests me, need a bit more practice though.

Some lovely shots on this thread.

Here are a couple of Bentley interiors (1996 Continental R). The interior lighting in these cars is so well done, it's almost good enough for photographic purposes without the need for additional lighting!

These were shot on Kodak Portra 400 film in 35mm format.

I've recently upgraded my camera and editing software. I used to have a 10 year old Sony DSLR and edit in Windows, now i have a Canon 700d and Lightroom. I thought I would give this thread a bump with this recent shot. I'm really pleased with how my photography has progressed. Any tips always welcome.

Some simply superb efforts on this thread guys ! smile

It's something that a mate and myself have kinda started doing ourselves. I'll upload some pictures for some tips / pointers at some point over the weekend.
