A second-hand D200 for £999? That's what they cost new in 2005!

In all seriousness, pretty sure my D200 cost me double not treble figures. It's in good nick too.

Seller is in the US - I expect they have done something simple like got their exchange rates confused.

OT but I remember a biking trip, pre-Euro, when after a couple of beers we just managed to stop someone from ordering a £1,000-worth bottle of wine in a restaurant in Verdun through that simplest of schoolboy errors....


(As you know, I never go for anything so cheap......or light)

I knew someone who ordered a £1,000 bottle of wine - in a restaurant in Geneva. Mind you he was a fund manager, so I probably helped pay for some of it.
