I've had mine picked up by TopMiata, I too was slightly mor epleased about such a simple thing than one should be. biggrin

There are plenty of 'pro' photos using Instagram, myself included. I resisted it for ages, but now see it as a necessary evil.

Its also occasionally a fun place to browse, and handy for inspiration too

Im getting far more of a response on instagram than facebook or anywhere else and it puts me in touch with a lot of 'non photographers' which places like 500px dont.

Yeah, this. It's also great for near-instant feedback from the general public who, as above, might not be a photographer.

The main reason I like it is because it's a good cross-over platform for behind-the-scenes shots and polished stuff.
