Yep, there's something special about the way it looks like the light was falling in the slopes.

Quite subtle though. I wonder if it could be lifted a touch more without starting to look artificial or becoming overpoweringly obvious?

Would it take that without spoiling the effect?

Might just be a case of tweaking the relevant colour(s) a tad to make the B&W filtering produce a slightly paler look but only for the specific colour responses.

I wouldn't have messed with it all, there something about the light and tones, that is just 'right'

Thanks for the feedback David - I'm happy to see what LQ can come up with but I only succeeded in making it look worse smile

Righto. I always enjoy an opportunity to play with a file orm a camera I have not previously had the opportunity to investigate.

Might not happen until Sunday though.

My mistake for assuming you had any light to work with when editing.
