Hi
Has anyone flash magic lantern software on there Canon camera?
I have the 6D and was considering putting this on so i can try out some time lapse photography.
Just concerned about it breaking it, is it easy to remove after?
If anyone has experience with this i would be interested to hear your feedback on it
Thanks

Yes - I tried it a week or two ago. Worked fine - actually removed it by accident as I formatted my SD card, so yes I would say it is easy to get rid of! paperbag

Used it all the time on my 5d2, meant to put it onto my 6d as its so handy for a bunch of things.
Sadly I killed the 6d , nothing ML related though..

I put ML on my EOS-M. The menu was so fiddly and time constrained I never really used it (its not that intrusive though.....) Eventually I removed ML which was easy...

I think the version for other Canons is far better than the EOS-M version I had, reading the forums...

Thanks for the replies, although I've not installed it yet, I think I would, just my friend has a remote that does the job so I'll use that for now.

I put it on my 50D as it enables HD video. I never took a video as I never fully understood how to access the video mode, or get it going.

You put the boot files onto a memory card and the camera loads them. Change memory card to one without the files and ML won't load I believe. You can also hold a button when turning the camera on to bypass it for that session.
