Hmm, not sure of the artistic quality of the winning photo, but the nighttime back alley photo with the all the stars and seemingly no noise is extraordinary. What kind of phone camera could produce this result?

The DM feature is pretty misleading. It starts with the winners from the mobile competition but moves on to include shortlisted images from other, non device-specific categories without really mentioning the change.

For instance, The nighttime alley photo was in the Environment category (http://worldphoto.org/images/image/1078112/?FromImageGalleryID=26226) and the ski resort photo featured in the Travel section (http://worldphoto.org/images/image/1074200/?FromImageGalleryID=26223).
