Hello,

We have just been let down by our wedding photographer (family illness, so we completely understand), so we are in a bit of a panicked hunt for another one now.

The big day is 8th August 2015, so they obviously have to be available on that day.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Based in Henley (Berkshire)

We are after quite a Laid back "in the background" style photographer, rather than a team of people doing posed shots all day.

Thanks

We used on old friend who had just started out in this business. He's doing really well now and it's a testament to his excellent work.

We couldn't have been happier.

Is it insensitive of me to ask how the hell someone knows they're going to have a relative ill in August?!

Partner undergoing cancer treatment, radiotherapy/chemo and will therefore need lots of support and care for the next few months?

I guess the photographer has given lots of notice around their uncertain schedule to allow their clients a fighting chance of booking a replacement in time.

That's a very popular wedding date this year, I could have booked that one 3 times over.

I have a large network of fellow wedding photographers. If you're still stuck for a photographer PM me and I'll ask if any of them are available.
