Sorry missread your post - thougt I read 700 not 750

The 750 on ebay is about 1200; Cheapest UK retail is 1499 so Digital rev looks good at1,063.64GBP

Ah I did wonder. The ISO performance of the D750 is what I'd like over the D700, but there's nothing else much. I do quite like the idea of the swivel screen though as I often whack my camera on a 5s timer and hold it high on a monopod for crowd shots.

I bought my D750 from Panamoz - I see now that the price has crept below £1k if you pay by bank transfer. I got great service from them and they seem to have a good reputation on Talk Photography (I've no connection with them apart from being a customer).

I was late to the D700 (I got a 2nd hand one in 2012 with 10k clicks) but still love it. I arrived there from a D200 - and I still get that out if I want to use the DX crop factor (in good light!).

or you could switch the D750 to DX crop, get the better sensor performance and more resolution than a D200.
