Bet you are itching to get the new 80D?
Hmm well actually the 760 seems massive after the 100 so I definitely don't want anything bigger! If anything I could see myself going mirrorless or maybe to the 150D if/when it comes out but I think I might just try taking some photos for a change and leave the gear alone. Also had to upgrade my version of Elements as the one I had wouldn't open the RAW files (and going via PNG seems like a faff)

I'm interested to see how you get on with the 760. One of the reasons I love the EOS M is the colours it renders (same sensor as the 100D) and the recently released M3 which I had my eye on (same sensor as the 760D) has definitely received a lukewarm reception on some of the forums I go on due to it's muted colours and iffy WB.
Why the upgrade then? Better AF? Newer sensor?
Better sensor, articulated screen and electronic spirit level. The sensor is a good step up according to what I have read Why the upgrade then? Better AF? Newer sensor?

Fair enough. It was the articulated screen on the M3 that was the biggest draw for me. Look forward to seeing some pics.
Not much to show yet due to a lot of fannying around with Photoshop + plugins but I seem to have got it all working now 760D + 15-85mm - Test Shot 1 by Mike Smith, on Flickr

Quick question"
If I want to get bokeh with a 50mm f1.8 lens which is it best to use. Full frame or crop sensor?
Full frame is better for everything If I want to get bokeh with a 50mm f1.8 lens which is it best to use. Full frame or crop sensor?

Great work RobIt's a Mk2 - picked it up on TP for £200, seems like a bargain
Will wait and see if I gel with it - not sure if I'll take to the Sony interface (tried an A6000 and hated it!) but it's really just going to be on point and shoot duties so expectations are quite low.
I'll still be using the XT1 for landscapes and the 760D for macro - longer term I may pick up the Fuji 120mm macro when it comes out (if I can sort out the flash) and dispose of the Canon gear completely...

I'm currently waiting on a RX100 Mk4 thats coming today hopefully. I have literally condensed all my kit down to this one camera.
I used to have a 7D and lenses, multiple flashes etc but just ended up never having the time to do something serious with it all and lamented having to lug around so much kit. Stepped sideways to mirrorless in an effort to shrink the kit but that didn't really work. Although I enjoyed using the camera (NEX-6), I found to get any flexibility on lenses you either had to carry lots of primes or be stuck with something with a naff aperture. The kit just ended up ballooning again and again, time to actually use it and use it properly.
So for my next experiment I have sold the lot and bought an RX100 MK4. Reviews are good and extensive browsing of flickr groups shows its going to be capable enough for my limited skills so I will see how I get on with it. Hopefully by being actually pocketable I can just have it with me all the time.
Who knows, after this I'll either go back up to more serious stuff or might just find there is no longer space for a photography hobby in my life anymore. But I have some cool trips this year (Poland, Japan) and packing so light in the camera dept should be a boon.

I have definitely cooled a bit on 'proper' photography but I don't think I could cope with selling up just yet!
